Erg Al´Watlas

This 2025 edition has been the closing of a cycle: the fifth and final Ruta del Nabab in Morocco. Five years, five journeys that have left their mark on the desert, the mountains, and our own lives. For this farewell, Morocco revealed all its greatness.

We crossed the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi and the infinite immensity of Erg Chegaga, seas of sand that shift with the wind and demand strength and determination. We ascended towards the sky, to nearly 3,000 metres, where the Atlas opened its arms to us with silence and cold. We rode through the volcanic silhouettes of Jebel Saghro and the fossil plains of Kem Kem, a landscape as ancient as time itself.

Each day was an adventure, and each night, a celebration. Around the fire, Marian’s guitar and voice gave sound to the silence of the desert.

It was not only the landscapes that made this farewell unforgettable, but the way we lived them: with engines roaring, with laughter shared, with the joy of daring to fall and rise again. Morocco has given us five routes that will remain forever in our memory. This last one, with its dunes, mountains, rocks, style, art, and music, has been the perfect farewell: a memory carved into the desert that will live within us, always.
